2. Processing when visiting the website

When you visit this website, technical access data may be processed (for example, IP address, date, time, page requested, browser information). This processing is done to provide and secure the website.

For anonymized traffic analysis, we use the analytics service Matomo on a self-hosted instance (no third-party server). No cookies are set, and a "Do Not Track" setting enabled in your browser is respected.

3. Processing your data in the Renew Radar app

The Renew Radar app processes the services, costs, deadlines, and notes you enter locally on your device. Without sync enabled, none of this content is transmitted to Renew Radar servers.

If you connect features of your operating system or a cloud provider, data may be transmitted there according to your own settings. This is outside Renew Radar's control and is subject to the respective provider's privacy policy.

To improve and analyze app functionality, Renew Radar also uses the Matomo analytics service and collects anonymized usage data. This data doesn't include the content of your entries.

To detect and fix crashes and errors, Renew Radar uses the error tracking service Sentry. In the event of a crash or error, technical diagnostic data (such as device information, operating system version, and app state) is transmitted to Sentry. This data doesn't include the content of your entries.

4. Newsletter sign-up

If you sign up for product updates, the data you provide (email address, optionally your name) is processed to manage the subscription. The legal basis is your consent.

5. Storage period

Personal data is stored only as long as necessary for the respective purpose or as required by statutory retention obligations.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to the processing of your data within the statutory framework.
